Jeff Connors Mr. Jeff  Connors joined Intrix in 2010 following his role as CEO of ELM Resources, a profitable student loan technology company. His leadership roles included a stint as the President of Orbitex Financial Services, a private, pre IPO group with $13B in funds. Prior, he served in a variety of senior level capacities within J P Morgan Chase including COO/CFO of its highly successful Internet discount broker, Brown and Company, CEO of its Delaware Bank, COO/CFO of its Lincoln First Bank, as well as Group Vice President for Middle Market Companies. Internationally, Jeff headed Strategic Planning for Europe and successfully completed the turnaround of a major Australian joint venture bank. A holder of both an MBA in Finance and a MS in Accounting from Long Island University where he also taught in the MBA program as well as the NASD Series 6,7,27 and 28 licenses, Connors is a member of the CEO Alliance and the National Association of Corporate Directors.
Mr. Frank J. Cotroneo is the founder and CEO of Core Business Consulting, LLC located in Leawood, Kansas which provides professional services to a diverse client base of public and privately held companies by providing them with business strategy advice, assistance on reengineering projects and advise on merger and acquisition plans. Mr. Cotroneo joined the Intrix board in March 2011 and serves on the board of  a general purpose reloadable prepaid debit card provider and is the Audit Committee Chairman for Interclick Corporation. Previously, Mr. Cotroneo was on the board of Netspend Corporation where he successfully led the business reengineering of the Information Technology, Business Operations and Finance/Accounting departments in preparation of their Initial Public Offering.  Mr. Cotroneo served as the Chief Financial Officer of MasterCard International from October 1996 to February 2000.
As an investor, Mr. Jorge Fernandes has decades of experience as a CEO, President and member of the board of directors with some of the industry’s leading payment and technology companies. Among these companies, Mr. Fernandes was co-founder, CEO and Chairman of ViVOtech, having conceived and demonstrated the initial products for PayPass and NFC. Previously Mr. Fernandes was president and founder of EmployeeLife (NASDAQ-ICGE), BioLumin (NASDAQ-MDYN), and LaserTron (NASDAQ-LZTN). He has authored over a dozen patents in the areas of payment technology, software algorythims, robotics, digital feedback, and laser systems. Mr. Fernandes received his BSEE from San Diego State University and MBA from Santa Clara University.
Mr. Phil Handley is the Chief Financial Officer of Sunchase.  Mr. Handley is a “hands-on”, operationally-focused CFO responsible for the financial management of the company and its projects. He and his team are responsible for financial due diligence, planning, cost control, leverage and profitability of real estate projects. Mr. Handley is responsible for taxation, reporting and long-term strategic planning for SunChase. He also co-manages the financial investments for SunChase Investments LLC. Prior to joining SunChase, Mr. Handley was CFO for two different companies after starting his finance career at Ernst and Young LLP, where he spent over seven years in the audit and entrepreneurial services groups. Mr. Handley is a non-practicing Certified Public Accountant, and earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Economics from the University of California at Santa Barbara.
Mr. Rich Torre is a consultant and advisor to high technology companies on the east and west coasts. Prior to establishing his consultancy, he was president of PA Compliance, a provider of SaaS solutions for companies needing to comply with the USA PATRIOT Act. In 2008, the company was sold to EVS, a Lousiville, KY, IT compliance firm. Before PA Compliance, Torre ran SalesLink, a CMGi operating company, for 11 years. During his tenure, SalesLink grew from an unprofitable, Boston-based, company to a $200M global leader in financial services fulfillment, eFulfillment and outsourced manufacturing. Earlier in his career, he held a variety of marketing, sales and finance management positions at Digital Equipment, Wang Laboratories, IBM, Evans Products and Drazen Industries. Rich Torre has his BSBA and MBA from Babson College, where he is an adjunct professor in the MBA program.
