Acquisition is sixth in last year; fuels Intrix’ strategic growth initiatives

(Intrix), a leading provider of payment processing technologies, today announced it has acquired the merchant portfolio of Witt Merchant Services of Albuquerque, New Mexico. The acquisition of the Witt portfolio is the sixth in a series of acquisitions Intrix Technology has completed over the last year.  This growth is an integral part of Intrix’ strategy to enhance its footprint around the country as a trusted, innovative and dynamic merchant services provider.

Co-founded by James and Barbara Witt in 1999, Witt Merchant Services is an independent sales organization recognized as providing high-quality payment processing services for small to mid-sized merchants in New Mexico and various places around the country. The company offers an array of payment solutions including credit card and check-processing services, gift cards and stored value cards.  Witt Merchant Services will become a fully integrated part of Intrix.

Intrix Technology Acquires uProfit Payments

Roseville, CA, October 1, 2013Intrix Technology, Inc.  (Intrix), a technology enabled ISO and leading payment processor, announced the acquisition of payment services provider uProfit Payments in Plano, Texas.  This will mark the second acquisition made by Intrix in the past two months.

With the acquisition, uProfit Payments’ merchants and agents will be able to take advantage of the wide range of secure processing solutions offered by Intrix and its dedicated support teams.  Customer management will be handled out of the Intrix offices located in Denver, Colorado.

Intrix Acquires Centauris Solutions and Names Roger Arora Chief Financial Officer

(Intrix), a leading payment processor, announced today that it has acquired Centauris Solutions, an IT, telcom and payment services solutions provider for medium and enterprise-sized businesses based in Denver, Colorado. Centauris will become a fully integrated part of Intrix.

The company also announced that Centauris founder, Roger Arora, has been named to the new post of Chief Financial Officer.  Arora is a well-recognized leader with nearly 25 years of experience. He will be responsible for designing and implementing world-class operating and financial systems for Intrix.

The acquisition of Centauris will enable Intrix to become a leading processor in several key verticals including high technology and healthcare, both fast-growing markets.  The acquisition will also give Intrix the opportunity to foster strategic industry alliances in these market segments.

Part of Intrix’ strategic growth plan includes a focus on various verticals and the acquisition of Centauris aligns perfectly with that objective. Intrix will acquire Centauris businesses and assets, its employees and customer relationships, including strategic accounts in various sectors.

Previously, he held financial and operational leadership roles for more than 14 years with Diner’s Club International/Discover Financial Services.  His earlier experience includes positions with former Big Four accounting firm Arthur Andersen and various companies in the high technology and aerospace/defense industries.

Arora earned an MBA from the University of Colorado in Boulder and a bachelor’s degree in business administration from the University of Texas at Austin. He will be based in the company’s Westminster, CO office.

Intrix Technology Colorado Office Moves to New Location

Intrix Names Payments Industry Veteran Suzanne Coleman as Director of IT

Roseville, CA, June 4, 2013Intrix Technology, Inc. (Intrix), a leading payment processor, today announced that Suzanne Coleman, former COO of Mass Global Solutions, has joined the company as Director of Information Technology.  Coleman will oversee and be responsible for all aspects of Intrix information systems, network infrastructure and system administration, strategic planning and day-to-day IT operations.  She will also be the lead manager in the Roseville, CA office and report to Intrix CEO Jeff Connors.

 

Coleman has more than 20 years of experience in technology, in both consumer and business solutions, with more than 10 years of experience in the payments industry.  As COO of payments and transactions processing solutions company Mass Global Solutions, Coleman was responsible for IT Operations, QA, Compliance, Customer Support and other functions, and was a contributor to significant growth for the company. Prior to Mass Global Solutions, Coleman spent 8 years as director of application development for First Data Corporation, where she headed up development, QA and IT operations for an Internet payments gateway processing more than $1 billion annually, and handling more than 150 million transactions annually.  During her tenure with First Data, Coleman drove the global deployment of the gateway, fostered the growth of the gateway, and improved the stability and availability.

 

Earlier, Coleman was director of engineering with a software startup developing heterogeneous database integration systems. She also spent more than 6 years with Hewlett Packard in software R&D.

 

“Suzanne brings with her a considerable depth of information technology knowledge and experience in the payments processing arena,” said Jeffrey Connors, chairman and CEO of Intrix.  “She will be a great asset as we continue our focus on initiatives that provide safe and reliable ways to handle growing payment processing needs.”

The new module allows merchants to create and manage invoices from a virtual location. Intrix Introduces Recurring Payments for Payment Gateway

Roseville, CA – July 30, 2012Intrix Technology, Inc. (Intrix), a provider of integrated payment processing solutions and services for processors, agents, ISO’s, enterprises and retailers, today announced it has added a Recurring Payments module to its payment gateway platform.  The new module supports subscription, membership and “card on file” functionality.

The Recurring Payments module is designed for merchants who bill for subscriptions or memberships as well as for those choosing to store a “card on file” for existing customers. The new module supports any combination of rate plans and subscription periods. The remote storage of card sensitive data facilitates PCI compliance.

Merchants using the Recurring Payments module can manage the billing database by establishing customer payment profiles. The payment profiles can be billed weekly, bimonthly, monthly, quarterly or annually. In addition, payment profiles can be billed on a user defined subscription basis.

The Intrix Payment Gateway is a software-as-a-service solution for processing payments and storing sensitive payment data. Its rich feature set offers merchants the ability to take advantage of the complete card present and card not present offering including support for Purchase Cards Level II and Level III, ACH processing and fraud filtering for Address Verification and/or Card Verification.
